The Newsletter and Website are our guilds primary source of information.  It keeps the membership informed of meetings, workshops, local classes, exhibitions, and much more.  It is a lot of work, but also quite rewarding.  With input from the membership, Kaligrafos can have a continuously up-to-date source of information.  You can add content to the Kaligrafos website your home.  It's easier than you think - I'm happy to show you how!

These are areas which I would like to ask for you to lend a hand:

  1. Website LINKS - The Kaligrafos website has capabilities to organize a variety of links YOU find on the web.  If you find a nice site that you would like to share with the membership, YOU CAN!  I'll show you how you can add it to the website yourself.

  2. Local Classes (for Newsletter and Website) - Instructors are welcome to add their own content.  However, I do need someone to follow up each month with them to ensure the content is current and accurate.

  3. Workshops - Need someone to be in the know about workshops in the area and hosted by sister-guilds.  Would like for you to stay in contact with these guilds in an effort to help keep the education of calligraphic art on the forefront.

  4. Events, News & Contests - Need some one who searches for current news, events, contests, etc as it relates to Calligraphic Art.  Then post it to the website for all to see.

  5. Membership - Keep the membership contacts current in the "Contact Us" section of the website.

  6. Gallery - Would like to further develop the Gallery of the website by adding/maintaining descriptions. Need someone to keep photos and descriptions current and sorted in appropriate albums.  ALSO, would like to see members post photos of their calligraphic art.

  7. Reggie - This position will develop as the year continues.  Someone enrolled in the Reggie year-long class help keep the plethora of information centralized and current!  Also help upload Gallery photos from the monthly classes.

  8. Bylaws & Standing Rules - Need someone to finish typing the document and post to website.

If you are interested in working on any of these positions with the website and/or newsletter, please contact Marie Adamson.  Your time and efforts would be greatly appreciated!
