Section 1: The President with the assistance and approval of the Executive Board shall appoint a Nominating Committee consisting of a Chairman and four (4) members with first and second alternates. Thenames for the Nominating Committee shall be presented at the January regular meeting for election by the Society.\ Section 2: The Nominating Committee shall prepare a slate of candidates for the elective offices for presenation at the march regular meeting and election at the april Annual Meeting. Additional nominations may be made fromt he floor prior to the election at the April meeting, provided consent of the nominees has been obtained. \ Section 3: The elected officers shall serve for a term of one (1) year and may be re-elected for a second term, but shall not serve for more than two (2) consecutive terms in any one office. Terms of office shall begin following the close of the April annual Meeting. Retiring officers shall serve until their successors begin their term of office. Section 4: Vacancies shall be filled by the Executive Board by a majority vote.
